LOCAL boxer, 17-year old Ellis ‘El Diablo’ Holloway, is on a winning streak, with three undefeated boxing bouts under his belt.
Ellis’ mentor, Rocco Richards, reports, “Ellis boxed on his debut winning by first round TKO (technical knockout); and then against a seasoned boxer, aged 31 years old, winning on points. On Saturday 14th August he took his record to 3-0, winning against Bradley Livingston – aged 25, who won his previous bout by knockout – with ease by claiming victory by unanimous decision.
“Young Ellis boxes from Melksham’s Contender gym and took close to 50 people to Swindon’s MECA to watch him box. Ellis is a very quiet modest young man with a great future.”
