A NEW barber shop has opened in Melksham with the promise of a ‘high quality personal service’.
That is the message from owner Damien Plunkett who has recently opened his barber shop called ‘The Fine Barber Co’ on Bath Road, just a few doors away from Wetherspoons.
His new modern shop is a far cry from the derelict building it was before and offers customers an excellent all-round experience.
It is Damien’s first barber shop but he has a wealth of experience at his disposal having been a barber for 12 years.
“The new shop is both bright and airy which offers customers a high quality experience whether that be when they are in the chair or in the waiting area,” he said.
“The experience begins the second you walk through the door as sleek and modern surroundings give the impression of grandeur not matched by the low prices charged. A comfy waiting area with a flatscreen television and free wi-fi allows customers to relax if they have to wait.”
The Fine Barber Shop is targetted at all ages with a children’s chair doubling up as a racing car to help make children feel comfortable when they have their hair cut.
Damien added, “I have been working in barber’s across the area for years and I thought I would give it a go. I want to give customers the best overall experience possible to match the sharp and neat hair cut they leave us with.
“We are a small team of just two so we can guarantee the customer a friendly personal experience with a barber they can trust.
“Melksham is a town that is quickly developing so it was an attractive place to open up and as far as I know we have the cheapest prices!”
A hair-cut costs just £9 for gents, £6 for OAPs, £6.50 for children and £8 for students.
