THOUSANDS flocked to Oakfield Stadium last weekend for the annual fireworks display in aid of the Melksham Christmas Lights fund.
Organised by local light display company LIGHTFantastic, under the direction of Paul Weymouth, Bonfire Night revellers enjoyed a huge fireworks display that lit up the skies across Melksham and a dazzling laser light display.
The event also included food stalls, amusements and inflatables for children.
People’s reactions on Facebook included, Sue Pearce commenting, “Was a brilliant firework display, thank you all for all your hard work of planning this event, look forward to next year”.
Steven Copland added, “Excellent again sir! All concerned in organising the event can take great pride and as you say, a top venue for the wonderful people of Melksham to come together in a lovely atmosphere.”
