MELKSHAM Town Football Club welcomed former Manchester United, Leeds and England player Lee Sharpe to Oakfields last month for the club’s Sportsman’s Dinner.
It was the first Sportsman’s Dinner the club has hosted since Oakfields was opened earlier this year, and organisers have said it was a huge success.
Manager Darren Perrin said, “Another awesome night at the home of Melksham Town Football Club. It was a brilliant night and everyone had a great evening.
“Thank you to the 150 people who came to support the event and to our special guests for making it a great success.”
