MELKSHAM Walking Netball Team has taken part in the Sylvia Higgs Netball Festival, that raised funds for Dementia UK and Dorothy House Hospice Care.
The event took place on Saturday 24th February at Corsham Sports Centre and raised over £700 to be shared between the chosen charities.
“The ladies who came had a great time and did really well,” says a team member, Sue Mortimer. “Thank you, Corsham, for hosting the event where Calne were the overall winners.”
Anyone interested in playing is welcome to join the team for training on Mondays from 4pm to 5pm at Melksham Community Campus. For more details, give Sue Mortimer a ring on 07719 935883.
