Local antiques expert Paul Martin, known for his role as the presenter of the BBC TV programme Flog It!, will be returning to Melksham next month to host another free community valuation day following a successful visit in May.
The valuation day will take place at ‘that meeting space’ in the Market Place on Wednesday 11th September from 10am to 3pm.
During his previous visit in May, Paul shared insights into the history and worth of a variety of items brought to him, ranging from jewellery to half a propeller from a World War One biplane.
“Some people were thrilled to discover that their precious possessions had financial value, while others were delighted to learn the fascinating history of their items, which enhanced their sentimental worth,” said John Firth at ‘that meeting space’.
“Why not have a look around and find something you’d like to have valued?”
There will also be an opportunity for those who wish to consign items for auction at Henry Aldridge and Son in Devizes to leave those items with Paul.
