VANDALS caused damage to the play area at Hornchurch Road public open space, Bowerhill last week.
Police suspect that the incident took place between Tuesday 9th July – Thursday 11th July.
The report says, “The damage caused was the slide ripped off and evidence of small fires have been burnt on the rubber safety surface.”
The play area was temporarily closed whilst repairs took place – it has now reopened to the public.
