Wiltshire Mind is a very local mental health charity working across Wiltshire.
The charity says, “We are a self-funding charity and do not receive any funding from national Mind or from the statutory authorities in Wiltshire. To help us provide services, we have some volunteers. We are currently seeking volunteers, so if you have a few hours which you would like to fill, please consider giving your time to Wiltshire Mind.
“Wiltshire Mind runs six peer support groups in Wiltshire (Melksham, Trowbridge, Salisbury, Devizes, Malmesbury, Chippenham), two for carers of those with mental health issues, an evening group (for those in work), provides 1-1 counselling, Polish counselling, mental health awareness training for businesses and has a charity shop in Melksham.
“We are always seeking volunteers for our groups, in particular we are currently seeking volunteers for our evening group held in Melksham on a Tuesday evening and also at our charity shop in Melksham.
“If you have a few hours you could give each week to support local people and a local charity please do make contact: office@ wiltshiremind .co.uk Tel: 01225 706532 office; Tel: 01225 74985 shop.”
