BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions – Fri 14th July
Now in its 75th year, BBC Radio 4’s flagship political panel programme Any Questions? is broadcasting from Melksham Assembly Hall on Friday 14th July.
The programme is presented by political correspondent Alex Forsyth. Questions are posed by the audience to a panel made up of personalities from the world of politics, media and beyond.
One of the most stringent and unchanging rules of the show is that the panel never sees the questions in advance, they hear the questions for the first time at the same moment as the audience in the room and at home, so audience members are encouraged to come prepared with questions to submit to the production team on the night. If your question is chosen, you’ll need to read this out on air.
Seven Wonders: The Spirit of Fleetwood Mac – Saturday 15th July
Dance the night away in homage to Fleetwood Mac. In this show, first-class musicians have come together to pay tribute to the famous band whose hits include; Go Your Own Way, Don’t Stop, The Chain, Everywhere, Rhiannon, Dreams, Little Lies.
Organisers said, “If you’re a fan of Peter Green, the best-selling Rumours album, or the big-haired ‘80s classic Tango in the night, Seven Wonders capture the Spirit of Fleetwood Mac and they do it with passion and appreciation for this classic band.”
There is also a Record Fair on Sunday 23rd July and a Quiz Night on Thursday 27th July.
