A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision on the A350 near Melksham.
Police report, “We were called to the section of Western Way between Farmers Roundabout and Semington Roundabout at around 4.30pm 9th March.
“The collision involved a motorcyclist, a white van and a silver Nissan Juke.
“Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene. Nobody else was injured. His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
“A section of the road was closed for about 10 hours to allow the collision investigators to examine the scene. We would appeal for anyone with information, including anyone with dash cam footage which could assist our enquiries, to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit directly on 01225 694597 and quote log number 199 of 09/03.
