ON winning the toss the title favourites, RWB inserted the hosts and were soon in control as the opening bowlers gave the batsmen nothing to score off.
Wickets fell at regular intervals as all the batsmen struggled to get any bowler away.
The home side’s 105 off 42 overs was solely down to the disciplined bowling of all the RWB attack.
When the home side took to the field they knew they had to produce an even better display with the ball.
Unfortunately they were unable to do this, although if the fielders had held on to a couple of half chances the story may have been different.
The prolific S.Lawro (46*) and J.Twine (48*) saw the visitors to their target inside 21 overs for the loss of no wickets.
