BRITISH Kart racing driver Jack Meakin, 16 from Melksham, will race in the Junior Saloon Car Championship in 2021 after recently finishing runner-up in the series’ annual scholarship event.
Jack narrowly missed out on the scholarship’s top prize of a fully funded 2021 season, but his performance caught the attention of the teams and he has been presented with an opportunity to complete in the last 5 rounds of the Championship with Westbourne Motorsport.
Jack will be looking to promote local business partners both ‘on and off’ the track to help make his season a success.

The JSCC series takes place at some of the most prestigious tracks around the UK, including Silverstone and Brands Hatch and was recently featured on the BBC’s TV show Top Gear. The 2021 Championship will be broadcast on Sky Free Sport, 247.tv, YouTube and Facebook.
