MELKSHAM athlete, Laura Deas, led the British challenge at the resumption of the Skeleton World Cup, as she finished in seventh place in Winterberg, Germany, last week.
Laura maintained her position of sixth in the world rankings as she clocked a time of 1 minute 56.68 seconds to place just outside the wider podium spot,s in the fourth World Cup race of the season.
Next, Laura will continue on through the World Cup races and prepare herself for her hopeful participation in February’s Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang. Next race sees Laura in Innsbruck, Austria.
