WHITE Horse Opera is presenting Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’ at Lavington School during three dates in October.
On Wednesday 10th, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th October, the White Horse Opera will present Mozart’s great romantic opera that promises to take you on an adventure.
Join intrepid but naive Prince Tamino and his reluctant fellow-traveller, the bird-catcher Papageno in their bizarre quest to find their true loves. The Prince sees himself as the saviour of Princess Pamina; Papageno would be happy with any pretty girl. But will they be able to persevere and reach a happy ending?
They have to deal with the majestic but unapproachable Queen of the Night and with the mysterious Sarastro and his reclusive and dedicated followers, not to mention a lecherous henchman, three seductive ladies and three other-wordly boys. But are any of the characters they encounter really what they seem?
Tickets are available from Devizes Books and www.ticketsource.co.uk/ whitehorseopera at £15 for adults, £10 for children. Show starts at 7.30pm.
