An Oasis tribute band is set to bring the band’s iconic hits to Melksham this month, performing at the Conservative Club on Saturday 25th January.
Organisers say, “Don’t worry if you didn’t get tickets for Oasis this summer, we have the next best thing – Absolute Oasis are coming to town. Come and see them perform all the many Oasis hits.”
Absolute Oasis, a band from Bristol and Wells, began playing Oasis music in 2017 and have since performed hundreds of gigs throughout the UK.
“The band is a five-piece: Gary and George on vocals, two guitarists (George and Chris), Matt on drums, and Mike on bass,” said one of the organisers, Keith Taylor. “They work hard at making the sound as authentic as possible.”
“Come and see them perform all the many Oasis hits. It should be a great night and, if supported, we will hopefully look to book more bands of their calibre. So, don’t risk looking back in anger by missing the gig – let’s all just roll with it!”
Tickets cost £10 in advance and £12 on the door.
The event will be held in the upstairs hall of the club, which organisers say always creates a great sound.
