Melksham Town Football Club held their presentation evening in the Sky Bar on Friday 5th May.
Club stalwart Mick Perrin received a Civic Award from Melksham’s deputy mayor Sue Mortimer on behalf of Melksham Town Council for his 60 years’ service to the club and the local community.
Club awards were also made to Simon Price, Thank You Award; Stuart Irons, Club Person of the Year; Jay Malshanky, Top Goalscorer; Jaiden Pearce, Young Player of the Year; Sam Hendy, Supporters’ Player of the Year; Albie Hopkins, Manager’s Player of the Year; Albie Hopkins, Players’ Player.
Manager’s Player of the Year awards went to Jamie Ellis for the Reserves; Callum Howard for the Development side; Elicia Rumens for the Ladies team and Callum Howard for the U!8 and Ian Dowell for the Vets.
Players’ Player of the Year went to: Reserves, Jake Dodge; Development team, Aron Byfield; Ladies, Jade Wozniak; U18s, Harry Messenger and Vets, Simon Charity.
Club chairman Darren Perrin said, “The club were delighted that manager Mark Collier has agreed a 12-month contract with an option for a further year. We are also delighted that we will be able to announce some very high-profile pre-season friendlies in the next seven to 10 days.
“On behalf of the club, thank you to everyone who has played a part in the club’s 147th year especially you the supporters and of course the sponsors of the club.”
