A Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist is set to bring a night of live music to the Melksham Cons Club later this month.
Matt Wallis, who wowed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan at the Hackney Empire with his powerful performance, will appear at the club on Saturday 28th February from 8.30pm.
The Bournemouth-based musician will perform songs from the 1950s right through to today’s hits. He is an experienced keyboard player/guitarist with a rich baritone voice and his repertoire includes hits from Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Neil Diamond, Cliff Richard, Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, Elton John and more with plenty of audience favourites.
“My music is always performed live and I am very adaptable to any audience; my performances are never repeated and I always welcome requests and audience participation,” said Matt.
As well as his solo work he is also currently in a band called the ‘Elvis Presley and Roy Orbinson Experience’ performing in theatres nationwide.
Non-members are welcome and entry is free.
The evening is part of a busy few weeks at the Cons Club with a Quiz Night on Sunday 8th March, a Charity Race Night in aid of Dorothy House on Saturday 14th March and another live music night with Tim Welch on Saturday 21st March offering a range of music from the 50s to the 90s.
