Charity Christmas cards and Christmas stamps are now on sale at the Tourist Information Centre in Church Street.
Volunteers say, “We have the usual array of cards with a variety of designs to suit all tastes. And we also have a large selection of gifts on offer, including bone china mugs displaying photographs of Melksham, fridge magnets and tea towels, again picturing scenes old and new from around the town, plus of course our regular postcards and the very popular, locally-produced honey and marmalade.
“So next time you are in town, don’t stand in a queue at the Post Office to buy stamps, pop over the road to the Tourist Information Centre where you will receive a friendly welcome from the staff who look forward to seeing you while you browse at leisure in the warm and without the hassle!
“For further information regarding our winter and Christmas opening hours, please telephone 01225 707 424.”
