MELKSHAM Town FC celebrated the end of their promotion-winning season with their presentation awards evening earlier this month.
On the night, manager for the 1st team, Kieran Baggs, was presented with the Western League runners-up trophy after winning promotion from the Toolstation Western League Premier Division to the Southern League.
Also, Reserves team manager, Steve Burns, was presented with the Fountain Trophies Senior KO Cup, which the Reserves team won after beating Cricklade Town 4-2.
The player awards handed out on the night were; Players’ Player: 1st team – Gary Higdon. Reserves – Zak Hillier. A team – Jordan King. B team – Kieran Pearce. U18s – Seth Wain. Supporters’ Player: Ist team – Warren Maidment. Reserves – Mike Hill. U18s – Jordan Croad.
Manager’s Player: 1st team – Mike Perrott. Reserves – Emillio/Ethan Cox. A team – Adam Dhinsa. B team – Callum Thorburn. U18s – Jack Baker.
Special awards were given to Owen Pearce for young player of the year; Gary Higdon for top goal scorer; and Paul Brickley for clubman of the year.
