CHRISTIE Miller Sports Centre in Bowerhill, part of the Places for People Leisure Group, has taken on a fundraising challenge set by Wiltshire Air Ambulance, to raise vital funds for the new airbase being built in Semington.
Christie Miller’s fundraising activities will take place over the weekend of Friday 20th October – Sunday 22nd October – starting with the staff taking part in a sponsored cycle ride on a stationary exercise bike, with the aim of reaching 100 miles throughout the day.
Then on the Saturday at 12noon, the centre will be hosting a large circuit training session – all entries free by donation to the cause. Finally on the Sunday, all income from Ten Pin Bowling sessions from 9am-12noon will be donated to the charity.
Booking is required for the circuits and bowling sessions, and can be made by calling 01225 702826. Or donate via the Just Giving Page at www.justgiving. com/fundraising/cmsc1
