VOLUNTEERS are wanted for this year’s collections for Marie Curie in Melksham town centre.
The annual Great Daffodil Appeal collections will take place during February and March; last year the volunteers raised over £2,600 for the palliative care charity.
Organiser Pete Colegate says, “Marie Curie provides nursing care to allow terminally ill people to die in their own home. The charity is having its annual Daffodil Appeal collection in Melksham in February and March and we are desperately in need of collectors. If anyone can spare an hour or two to help collect it would be really appreciated.”
