THERE’S so much entertainment at Melksham Assembly Hall with exciting shows and live music coming up in the next few months.
On Thursday 22nd June, Brian Poole & The Tremeloes play at the Assembly Hall.
It is 54 years ago since the band known as Brian Poole & The Tremeloes recorded their first record. Now over 50 years on the three singers who sang on all the hit recordings of Brian Poole & The Tremeloes, continuing on to greater success as The Tremeloes, after Brian left to go solo.
What we see on this show is Brian Poole, Len “Chip” Hawkes and Dave Munden, together again, performing hits, such as “Twist And Shout”, “Do You Love Me”, “Silence Is Golden”, “(Call Me) Number One”, “Suddenly You Love Me” and many, many more. Backing will be provided by hit recording stars “Vanity Fare”.

It’s Ladies’ Night on Friday 23rd June. If you are looking for an exciting girls night out with your best mates, then this could be the show for you. The Pleasure Boys are coming to the Assembly Hall stage with a show like no other, bringing the male venue show into the 21st Century with a mix of acrobatics and sparks, it promises to be a night of pure sexy fun. Hosted by the fabulous drag artist Trixie Lee, the evening promises to be full of laughter, hunks and dynamic aerial work performances.
Tickets are £20, cabaret style, seating tables of ten. £225 for a table of ten with a bottle of Prosecco (Front tables near stage). Show starts at 7.30pm.
Fresh from his hugely memorable performance on 2016’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Joel Dommett comes to the Assembly Hall on Thursday 29th June with his solo show.
Described as one of the UK’s most energetic and exciting comedians, Joel’s show promises to deliver high octane comedy.
After receiving great critical acclaim for his Edinburgh Fringe shows, he has gone on to appear in numerous television shows including Impractical Jokers, Bring the Noise and Reality Bites.

On Thursday 31st August, former X Factor contestant Janet Devlin will be performing a mix of folk-driven pop songs and heart-touching ballads.
