KICKING off festive events at the Forest Community Centre is the Christmas race night on Saturday 11th December. You can bet on the horses from 7.30pm and there will be a raffle.
The children’s Christmas party will take place on Monday 20th December, from 6pm to 9pm. This event is open to toddlers to 14 year-olds and promises a disco night and even a visit from Father Christmas himself. There will be plenty to eat and drink, and each child will receive a gift. It is £4 per child and children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are on sale now until 16th December – to purchase, ring Edna on 01225 705378.
Christmas bingo will end the festive events on Wednesday 22nd December. Doors will be open from 6.30pm, with eyes down at 7.45. There will be a raffle, and a bar with mince pies.
