It’s time to get those applications in for the popular Foxhangers Raft Race.
Teams build their own raft and race it over a 1 km course on the River Avon, starting and finishing by the Adventure Centre in Melksham’s King George V Park.
The race will be held at midday on Saturday 3rd September, and again this year the race has a minimum age of 16 for crews.
As well as a £100 prize for the winning team, there will be a £50 prize for the second place plus a £50 prize for the best turned out crew and raft.
