Melksham Lions vice president Peter Dauncey recently presented a cheque for £1,400 to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Peter said that in presenting the cheque he was representing the people of Melksham, who have helped in raising the money, by donating on such events as the Lions Christmas collection and the spring choral concert.
The Lions are currently organising this year’s Christmas float and would welcome volunteers to assist with the collections. For details please contact Peter on 01225 766217.
