Melksham library will be holding a series of author events this autumn.
The first event will be a talk by local author Nikki Copleston, the creator of the likeable Wiltshire policeman series featuring DI Jeff Lincoln which is set in the fictional town of Barbury, also known as Salisbury. The books have many local references which will delight readers who know the area.
The talk is on Thursday 15th September, at 7.30pm, and tickets cost £3.
On Thursday 6th October, meet Barney Norris as he discusses his brand-new book Undercurrent.
The heart-breaking and ultimately hopeful novel is about finding yourself and is from the Times bestselling author of Five Rivers Met on a Wooden Plain. The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5.
Between the covers with Lynn Griffin, Lucy King and Jane Lark – join local Wiltshire novelists as they talk about how they create romantic fiction, reveal how they got their first publishing contract, where their ideas and inspirations come from and what it feels like to write a novel.
The event takes place on Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm and tickets cost £3.
The library also holds drop-in IT support sessions every Thursday between 4pm and 5pm, booking is essential.
