Melksham’s former UFC fighter, Brad Scott, is back fighting again next month after a break of four years.
He’s joined what he says is ‘the fastest growing sport in Britain’ – bare knuckle boxing – and fights on BKB TM’s show at the O2 Arena on Saturday 3rd December.
Brad said, “Bareknuckle boxing is savage and I plan to KO everyone on my way to the top of the sport! When you see a UFC fight where someone wins by submission, people say: ‘Congratulations.’ When there’s a knockout, the place erupts. There’s no feeling like it.
“The crowd get excited and I get excited too! Bareknuckle boxing gives fans knockouts and I’m looking to clean up. I was always a striker with a good finishing record. This is going to be fun.
“People don’t believe me when I say I’m fighting again because it’s been so long since I last fought in 2018. I got the itch when I had a spar a while ago. It was a good rush and I thought: ‘I want to fight again.’
“The level in BKB TM is high, but I think I can win world titles at two or three weights.
“I can put the fork down and get down the divisions. I can win titles at heavyweight, light heavyweight and middleweight.”
Scott says he’s an undefeated bareknuckle fighter.
He said: “I had a lot of street fights when I was younger and I did very well in them!
“I wish I had walked away, but I’ve always hated bullies. There are people who were horrible to me at school that I still don’t talk to – and I left 17 years ago.”
