FORMER Melksham Oak student Robyn Price has been selected to play at the Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament 2016, to be held in Japan next April.
Robyn and fellow team mates from Filton College have been invited to play in the prestigious international rugby union youth tournament.
Robyn said, “We are all so excited. It’s a great honour and a testament to all involved. We’re training hard for next year. We’ve changed our training times to suit how it will be when we’re in Japan.
“We’re confident in our ability but when you’re up against the best teams in the world, the pressure is definitely on. But we’re a close team and whatever happens, it will be a fantastic experience.
“Organisers of the tournament pay for all transfers, the hotel, meals and a few other things, but we have to pay for our flights so we are busy fundraising to get the money together.”
