A Melksham woman has been busy making hundreds of items of personal protective equipment for frontline workers in the NHS.
“Stevie Cooke from Berryfields has made and donated hundreds, possibly thousands of items, which have been donated to the RUH and other hospitals,” explained her friend Christine Duncombe
“She has turned her house into a sewing room and is busy making and donating scrubs, masks, laundry bags and gowns to the NHS. She does all relying on fabric donations.
“I think if anyone deserves some recognition, it is her.”
