A gym, which specialises in welcoming clients who do not always feel comfortable in mainstream gyms, has been going from strength to strength since opening last month.
Following on from the success of their fitness business in Batheaston, Pettemerides Personal Training have openedĀ their second studio gym at the Glenmore Business Centre in Devizes.
The ground floor of the premises houses a fully equipped studio gym which offers Personal Training and Supervised Gym Sessions; whilst the first floor has three treatment rooms providing Sports Massage, Physiotherapy and Foot Health Care.
Helen Pettemerides, the owner, said, āThe fitness side of the gym is aimed at those who would feel intimidated by going to a mainstream gym.
āOur gym in Batheaston attracts many older clients and those with medical conditions – we are able to give them expert advice and provide an encouraging and friendly atmosphere. These clients donāt seem to be catered for at other gyms.ā
The Studio gym opened on March 13th and there has already been a positive response from local people.Ā Many have been keen to take advantage of the free fitness MOT on offer until the end of April.
Helen Pettemerides and her colleague Dylan Worthington have more than 25 yearsā experience between them and they specialise in GP referrals, Exercise for Older People and those with back pain or injuries.Ā They are also experienced in working with clients with medical conditions such as Arthritis, Parkinsonās, MS and those with hip or knee replacements.
āOur oldest client in Batheaston is 95 years old,ā says Helen, ābut we would love to hear from people of all ages and abilities who would like to improve their health and fitness.ā
