A new nursery has opened at The Manor CofE Primary School, offering early years education for three- and four-year-olds.
Little Lights Nursery’s recent open day saw children explore the purpose‑built outdoor play area, get creative with Play-Doh and enjoy a range of nursery rhymes and storytelling activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination.
Headteacher Michael Park said, “We are incredibly excited to open Little Lights Nursery. It has been a joy to welcome our first group of children and see how quickly they have settled in, enjoying their new nursery environment and the rich, play-based learning it offers. We are committed to giving every child the very best start to their education and our highly skilled staff support children in growing in confidence as they explore our well-resourced indoor and outdoor areas.”
Nursery Lead, Meabh O’Kane, said, “This incredible opportunity to open Little Lights Nursery and begin children’s journey at three years old is truly special to us and we feel privileged to be part of the very start of their learning experience. We are so proud of our excellent, caring staff who are passionate about nurturing each child and helping them grow in confidence and curiosity. We want every child to feel happy and safe as they explore, learn, and discover through play with our indoor and outdoor facilities, laying strong foundations for a lifelong love of learning.”
