MELKSHAM Oak’s head-teacher has praised the school following a progress report that rates the school above the national average.
Headteacher Stephen Clark said, “For the fifth time in the last six years, our pupils at Melksham Oak made progress from Year 7 to Year 11 that is above the national average. We are rightly proud of this government statistic, which can be found at: www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/school/141911.
“This demonstrates the hard work of all our pupils, parents and staff and places our pupils in strong positions to be able to make the next step for them, whether that be continuing in education or moving into employment or training. These figures are proof of our continued drive to be a great school for our community.”
