One Voice Community Choir, based in Melksham, is currently working on three separate projects, coming soon to a venue near you!
In early November, the choir will be presenting its latest offering, with Forever Dusty: an Anniversary Tribute.
This performance is in honour of the legendary Dusty Springfield, born in 1939 and who died in 1999. The choir will be joined by members of One Voice in North Bradley and Rode, the three groups coming together to create a majestic sound for this special occasion.
One voice is also about to start work on its festive performance, Christmas at Edington, a concert of seasonal material performed at the Priory Church in Edington, near Westbury. Also in the pipeline is The Music of Queen, with the choir tackling the songs of rock band Queen, to take place in the spring.
Anyone interested in joining the choir should contact the leader, Lee Ingram, on 07766 244321. Lee would be delighted to hear from any potential new members.
Forever Dusty: an Anniversary Tribute is at St Margaret’s Hall, Bradford on Avon, on Sunday 3rd November at 7pm. Tickets from choir members or call Lee on 07766 244321. £8 to include refreshments.
