A local primary school is celebrating after receiving high praise in its recent Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) inspection.
The inspector highlighted the many strengths of the school and affirmed that St Mary’s Broughton Gifford Primary School is ‘living up to its foundation as a church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.’
Headteacher Tiff Butcher said, “This is a reflection of the dedication, love and care that characterise the school community.
“We are thrilled with the outcome of our SIAMS inspection. It’s a wonderful recognition of the hard work and compassion of our school community. Our school vision shines through in the children’s learning, relationships and personal growth — a true reflection of the light within each of them.”
“The inspector recognised that the school’s Christian vision, ‘Let your light shine’ (Matthew 5:14), is deeply embedded in the life of the school. Rooted in our core values of respect, generosity, wisdom and community, our vision inspires both pupils and adults to grow in confidence, value one another and make a positive difference in the world around them.”
