MELKSHAM racer, Mark Birkett, will once again be racing with North Gloucester Road Racing Club across the UK.
After coming 9th out of 30 in his first season and upgrading his licence from novice to clubman in 2015, Mark kicks off the 2016 season on 19th and 20th March at Brands Hatch.
Mark said, “The bike has had a full strip, clean and rebuild over the winter and it’s now time to see if what I learnt last year has stuck with me. I’m aiming for a top five in class this year.
“It wont be easy and as always, I want to thank the few dedicated sponsors. There is room on the bike for one or two more sponsors, but a big thanks to John Miller Garden Machinery, Orchard Mill Motor Company in West Ashton, Dragons Lair and Melksham Scaffolding. Also big thanks to Katya Chambers Music for part-funding a set of tyres; these are one of my biggest costs and it’s great to get some help.
“It’s great to have support and on the 2nd and 3rd July I will be racing at Castle Combe, so feel free to come along, it’s a great weekend.”
