THE Bowerhill Bomber is returning this month – and this year the event is raising money for Melksham Carnival.
The running event takes place on Sunday 31st July, with the option to tackle a 10km route or a 5km route.
The route covers country lanes, fields, towpaths and some road, which organisers say makes for a ‘picturesque countryside run’.
Organisers say, “The 10k race is open to runners over the age of 16 years on the day of the race. The 5K race is open to all, but under 10s must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are welcome on a lead.
“We regret that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Places are limited to 200 places, so please book early and we look forward to seeing you.”
Race entries are open till 6pm Sunday 24th July or will close earlier if the race limit is reached. There will be no entries on the day.
