BMCC batted first and were soon struggling as the evergreen Pete Mathias took two early wickets.
Pete was supported by Aaron Kyte whose varying pace troubled all the batsmen as he took 3 wickets. Perreria with 3 more wickets reduced the visitors to 93/9 off 34 overs,
With nothing to lose, stand-in skipper Andy Footner started to attack the bowling and took a liking to a very short boundary as he smashed 65 off just 34 balls. He was well supported by Pete Parks (11*) as they added 70 for the last wicket to allow the visitors to finish on 164 all out.
BMCC took to the field thinking that their total was well short of a competitive target and so it proved. The Potterne openers had raced to 75 off 9 overs when Clark (23) fell to Dan Carpenter. Home Skipper was then run out (46) by a great direct hit from Jhajria. Bramwell and S.Gaiger then added a quick fire 62 before Bramwell fell for 23. Gaiger (56*) saw the home side over the winning line with 21 overs to spare.
