The children of Aloeric Primary School have been encouraged to ride their bikes to school during the last few weeks of the spring term, resulted in a special raffle for a new bike.
Each time the children have ridden their bikes they were given a raffle ticket. These raffle tickets went into a prize draw on the last day of term, with the chance of winning a brand new bike, donated by Melksham Cycle Centre.
David Fielding from the centre came to the school on the Friday and drew out the winning ticket. This was won by Levi. There were another six tickets drawn out for the prize of a cycling helmet.
Aloeric children are going to try to continue to ride their bikes to school, saying they hope the weather will encourage this. The school also thanked David Fielding for his kind generosity.
