FOREST & Sandridge School celebrated this year’s Harvest Festival with a special assembly and donations to Melksham Foodbank.
Parents and a local vicar were invited to come and share the celebrations. Every class in the school prepared something to share. There was singing, poetry and prayers. As part of their special celebrations, harvest donations were offered and these were donated to the Foodbank and other elderly residents.
The school had lots of donations from their children and their families. Sue Henderson of Melksham Foodbank said, “Once again, we are overwhelmed with people’s generosity and kindness in their support. Be assured that your donations will be put to good use. Thank you for making a difference!”
