A LOCAL 6-a-side football league is looking for a few more teams as it extends its competition with the addition of a new division.
The league organisers, Soccersixes, are looking to add to their current crop of teams. The competition is played every Monday at Melksham Oak astroturf with games kicking off between 8pm and 9pm.
League organiser Matt Scoffham said, “Due to the success of the league we are now pleased to offer a new division and as the popularity is so high a further two more spaces are now available for any teams looking to join.
“As current restrictions continue to be lifted, Soccersixes continue to offer a safe environment for teams to play competitive football with their friends and family. We are looking for a further two more teams so anyone interested is urged to get in touch or join via our website.
“Anyone over 18 can create a 6-a-side team in our league and these teams don’t need a full committee like 11-a-side teams need.”
