Melksham Town FC has said that it is “delighted” to announce that manager, Richard Fey has agreed to sign a contract with the club for the next two seasons.
Chair of the club, Darren Perrin, said, “We are thrilled that Richard has agreed and committed to continue as manager for the next couple of seasons and hopefully for many more years to come.
“Richard’s passion, desire and his long term vision for the club is evident to see and his relationship with the directors, committee and our wonderful supporters makes it the perfect match. Let’s hope he can now complete a full season with us.”
Richard Fey added, “I’m really pleased to be signing a contract for a great football club. I will be doing everything possible to repay the faith that Darren, fellow directors and committee has shown in me.
“The club needs stability having only been in the Southern League for three seasons and whilst I have been manager for the past two years, we have been unable to complete one due to the pandemic.
“I am looking to build on what we have started with only a couple of additions to strengthen the current squad. We are all looking forward to getting back to playing football with no interruptions and to see all of the loyal supporters back in the ground being our twelfth man.”
