MELKSHAM Town Football Club’s Under 18s squad has recently announced a new sponsorship agreement with The Kings Arms Hotel.
Chris and Jade Lundean, who run the town centre venue, have paid for the team to have new warm-up tops to be used in training.
Team manager Barry Holloway said, “Chris and Jade have been keen supporters of Melksham Town FC since taking over at The Kings Arms Hotel, supporting several club events as well as the actual matches where possible.
“We really appreciate them offering to sponsor the warm-up tops of the under 18s, as the lads play their games on midweek evenings in The Wiltshire Floodlit league.
“This time of year in particular, the tops are invaluable on cold/wet nights.
“The under 18s are midway through their season and are doing well. They’re currently top of the league and in the semi -final of the Wiltshire County FA Youth Cup, having beaten two of the favourites in Wootton Bassett and Salisbury City to get there. “
Chris said, “We have real family values at The Kings Arms so we’re pleased to support the local team; we try to do so in any way we can. It’s important that the club has what it needs to make good progression, and this is a big year for them as they look ahead to moving to the new ground.”
