MELKSHAM Walking Netball group has been able to train again, whilst following guidelines.
Sue Mortimer, organiser said, “All England Netball following the government guidelines are allowing the return of training sessions for netball/walking netball to restart, providing no more than 6 players to participate (so not quite a team of 7!)
“Players are to keep to social distancing guidelines of 2 metres apart (usually defence have to be a metre apart so that’s doubled!)
Different players touching the ball need to be kept to a minimum. Other usual sanitizing habits apply too.”
Melksham Walking Netball have two sessions held at the bottom of the park. These are held Monday 1.45pm to 2.30pm. Any members wishing to play please book a place by contacting your host Sue Mortimer on 07719 935883.
