TEN-year-old Will Skinner, who plays for Melksham Rugby Club has been shortlisted as a finalist for the “Team mate Award” in the Guinness National Rugby Awards. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony at Twickenham stadium on Thursday 29th August.
Will was nominated for his love, determination and passion for the game, and his drive to work with his team to be the best they can be. He had no idea he had been nominated and was extremely excited when he found out he was actually selected as one of six children nationally for his category.
Will is looking forward to meeting some of his favourite players and having a tour of Twickenham stadium prior to the awards ceremony. He says his ultimate dream is to play for Bath Rugby and one day represent his country!
