THIRTEEN-year-old go-kart racer, Jack Meakin, finished 2nd in his first IKR Karting summer series at Clay Pigeon Raceway in the junior class.
After winning the Castle Combe Junior Championships in 2017, Jack took to Clay Pigeon Raceway to race in his first IKR series.
Mixed weather conditions proved tricky, but Jack raced well, beating drivers with far more experience than him.
After this result, Jack is confident and now hopes to compete regularly in the MSA Championship and aspires to race in Super One, the British Championships in the near future.
