On the first hot day of the season Beanacre/ Melksham Cricket Club were asked to field by their hosts.
They were soon to regret this decision as Rich Hemmings and 2nd Teamer Andy Footner had them struggling from the first ball.
With Hemmings beating the bat on numerous occasions and Footner snrswinging the ball, the Swindon batsmen were never able to get into their stride Hemmings came off after 7 pacey overs to be replaced by Jack Footner who continued where his skipper left off, beating the bat at regular intervals.
The bowlers were backed up by their team mates, which resulted in 2 run outs as Swindon were all out for 62 in 27.3 overs.
Footner Snr finished with 4 for 24 off 12 while Fotner Jnr finished with 3 for 7 off 7.
The BMCC openers Mark Wiltshire (28) and Steve Rendell (10) made batting look easy until they fell with 20 runs required. Matt Hunt 7 and Paul Gilbert (12) saw the visitors home to a comfortable victory in the 14th over.
