MELKSHAM’s first drive-in cinema, which will be parking up at the Melksham Hub Café car park later this month, will be screening two blockbuster films.
Across two nights, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd April, film lovers will be able to watch a film from the comfort of their own car in the café’s car park next to the railway station.
On ‘Retro Friday’ the drive-in cinema will be screening the 1993 monster classic, Jurassic Park; and for ‘Blockbuster Saturday’, film lovers can enjoy a screening of the most recent Spiderman thriller, No Way Home.
Organisers say, “We have a huge 15ft screen, projector and personal headsets for use on the night. Gates will open at 6pm, with films starting at 7pm.
“Attendance will be by ticket only and these are available through the Melksham Hub Café, either directly in the café or through our Facebook page.
“We have limited tickets available. The café itself will be open and will be offering a ‘car-door’ service, serving a limited menu of hot and cold snacks and drinks.”
Tickets cost £25 per car (up to five people a car), which includes complimentary popcorn. For updates, keep an eye on the café’s Facebook page: www.facebook. com/Melkshamhubcafe
