THE last fortnight has shown us 67 Crimes and 58 Incidents. Our focus over the last two weeks has been on three repeat offenders, who we’ve all dealt with in a bespoke way.
They’ve all disappeared from the list of repeat offenders, demonstrating a success in the short term at least. They’ll remain subject to regular checks and further interventions, as needed.
We’ve seized three e-Scooters over the last fortnight, all from people using them anti-socially. We’ll continue to target anti-social use of these non-road-legal vehicles, particularly “The Ninja”, who’s gained some local notoriety on the local Social Media pages.
We’ve had a slight Hot Spot appear around the Littlebrook Centre, where we’ve had a handful of ASB Reports made. We’re focussing on that area for the next fortnight, to build on some previous work. We gave a Youth Conditional Caution to one individual who was previously involved in causing problems there. They now have to work with the Youth Offending Team for the next few months, to address their behaviour, longer term.
