Melksham’s ‘Bonniest Babies’ have been crowned at the carnival team’s annual contest, held as part of the Forest Community Centre’s family funday last month.
The Bonniest Baby competition has been running in the town for many years and sees parents enter their babies in various age categories, with the chance to win the title of ‘Bonniest Baby.’
“Judges Sue, Sara and Pam met so many delightful children and had an awfully difficult time picking the winners,” said Michelle Brightwell of the Melksham Carnival team.
The overall Bonniest Baby for 2025 was Reuben.
In the 0–3 months category, first place went to Zachary. In the 4–11 months category, Clara D came first, Nevaeh was second, and Rubie-Leigh placed third. In the 1–2 years category, Esme took first place, followed by Olivia in second and Reggie in third. In the 3+ category, Reuben came first, Aaliyah was second, and Elliott was third.
The Pat Reeves Cup was awarded to Esme.
Michelle added, “A massive thanks to Forest Community Centre for inviting us, our judges and also to Starwulf Crafts for the beautiful rosettes.”
