Wiltshire Council has relaunched the Connecting Wiltshire website to give people transport information that is simple to find, simple to understand and simple to use.
The refreshed site, which has been updated and improved with new features, is designed to help people find ways to travel that save time and money, while also improving your personal wellbeing and the environment.
If you’re looking to find the best way to get around, the improved journey planner provides even better information on sustainable journeys within Wiltshire and shows information on a range of travel choices to enable you to enjoy the county.
Bridget Wayman, Wiltshire Council cabinet member for transport said, “We live in a beautiful, rural county, and the newly refreshed Connecting Wiltshire website is a vital resource to help people get around and explore.
“Travelling around Wiltshire helps people to do business, to visit friends and family, and reduce feelings of isolation; connecting people is at the very heart of Connecting Wiltshire.
“Whether you’re walking, cycling or travelling by car, bus or train, Connecting Wiltshire gives you the information you need to plan every step of your journey.”
To find out more, people should go to www.connecting wiltshire.co.uk; they can also use the site to contact the Connecting Wiltshire team with any comments, suggestions or complaints. People can follow @Connect ingWilts on Twitter for up-to-the-minute travel information.
